Othen looks at what already happened inside your AI app and tells you what needs fixing. This page explains what your app sends us, what we do with it, and how to get rid of it.
What we receive
- Your account email.
- Conversation content your app sends: user messages and AI responses.
- Actions your app took: tool calls, their results, and errors.
- An optional user id, if your app chooses to send one. We never ask for names or emails of your users.
Your app decides what to send. If you do not want a field to reach Othen, leave it out of the payload or replace it before sending.
What we do with it
We read it to find problems in your app, group them into issues, and write the suggested fixes you see in the product. That is the only purpose. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train foundation models.
Who processes it
- Hosting and database providers that run Othen.
- AI providers we use to read conversations and write findings. They process the content to answer our request and are not permitted to train on it.
How long we keep it
We keep conversation data while your app is connected so issues can be compared before and after a fix. Delete an app from Settings and its conversations, issues and keys go with it. Close your account and we remove your data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each app has its own key, and a key only ever writes to the app it belongs to. Access inside Othen is limited to the people who need it to run the service.
Your choices
You can export or delete your data, or ask us what we hold, at any time. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to correct or restrict it. We will honour those requests.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will tell account holders.
